Steve Kurtz, – Assistant Golf Professional
HOME TOWN: Littleton, CO
LOCATION: Evergreen Golf Course
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Steve has been playing Denver courses for 40 years and has worked with the Denver Golf team for 20 years. Steve earned his class A golf professional certification in 1993.
TEACHING PHILOSOPHY: Steve believes the foundation of the golf swing is having the proper grip on the club. Once the grip is established, he teaches students to use the bigger muscle groups in their swing in order to create more coil to hit the ball farther. Steve loves to watch his students game develop over time and see their drive go straight down the middle of the fairway!
FAVORITE CLUB: Driver, because there is no better satisfaction than hitting a pure shot straight down the middle of the fairway.
FAVORITE GOLF PRO: Jack Nicklaus

He believes in developing your game from tee to green, which is why he emphasizes the importance of chipping and putting during his lessons. Chris takes great pride when he sees his students confidence grow after hitting a well-executed shot. Always remember, GRIP – AIM – STANCE!
