TEACHING PHILOSOPHY: Chris models his teaching after Jack Nicklaus and believes that 90% of a golf swing happens prior to swinging the club. He believes in developing your game from tee to green, which is why he emphasizes the importance of chipping and putting during his lessons. Chris takes great pride when he sees his students confidence grow after hitting a well-executed shot. Always remember, GRIP – AIM – STANCE!
FAVORITE CLUB: Putter – if the putter is clicking then all the confidence grows from there.
FAVORITE GOLF PRO: Payne Stewart
Photo Coming Soon Robert Nelson - Head Professional
Email me at robert.nelson@denvergov.org

HOME TOWN: Pittsburgh, PA
LOCATION: Kennedy Golf Course
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Graduated from CU, Boulder. Have been teaching golf lessons for 25 years.
TEACHING PHILOSOPHY: The fundamentals of grip, stance and posture lay the foundation for everything in the swing.  I like to start by taking a good look at these things, espcially with less experienced golfers.  I look at the swing plane, clubface at impact and ball flight.  PUtting all this together gives us a starting point for developing a more consistent swing.
FAVORITE CLUB: The Driver.  Tee it high and let it fly! It is said the putter is the most important club in the bag but what good is the putter if you can't get the ball into play?
FAVORITE GOLF PRO: Growing up in Pittsburgh, it's Arnold Palmer.
Sam Mirreghabi - Assistant Golf Professional

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY:
Sam believes everyone can have fun playing golf if they have the correct attitude and willingness to learn. Learning golf requires patience from both the student and the instructor. With this mentality and correct mechanics, playing golf is much more rewarding for people of all ages and abilities.
FAVORITE CLUB: Driver. One of the most rewarding moments in playing golf is when you hit the perfect shot with the driver.
FAVORITE GOLF PRO: Ben Hogan

Joe loves teaching golf and passing on the life lessons of the game to other players.
