Robert Nelson - Head Golf Professional Email me at robert.nelson@denvergov.org HOME TOWN: Pittsburgh, PA LOCATION: Kennedy Golf Course EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Graduated from CU, Boulder. Have been teaching golf lessons for 25 years. TEACHING PHILOSOPHY: The fundamentals of grip, stance and posture lay the foundation for everything in the swing. I like to start by taking a good look at these things, espcially with less experienced golfers. I look at the swing plane, clubface at impact and ball flight. PUtting all this together gives us a starting point for developing a more consistent swing. FAVORITE CLUB: The Driver. Tee it high and let it fly! It is said the putter is the most important club in the bag but what good is the putter if you can't get the ball into play? FAVORITE GOLF PRO: Growing up in Pittsburgh, it's Arnold Palmer.
