City Park Opens to public September 1st!

The first rounds on the new design at City Park were played on Friday, August 21st to kick off the soft opening. When the course was closing for renovations, Denver Golf ran a Facebook contest to win the opportunity to win the last and first rounds. Winners got to play the last round when City Park closed, and the first round this year on the new layout before the course opened to the general public.

City Park then hosted the Denver Men's City Amateur on August 29-30 and the First Tee of Denver's annual fundraising tournament on the 31st.

Tee times opened to the general public on September 1st. The tee sheet opens at midnight 14 days prior to each day for Loyalty Members. These tee times are at a premium and book quickly. Your best chance to get a tee time is to get online at 11:59 for the opening of the tee sheet at midnight, and then start hitting refresh. If you see an open tee time take it, because they are currently selling out in less than 10 minutes each day. All tee times are walking only at this time so carts will not be available.

The First Tee of Denver

Fall Classes Now Available

First Tee Denver will be offering fall classes! This includes our new Birdie and Eagle classes for those who qualify. If you have any questions, or need help figuring out which class to take this fall please click here.

We would like to remind everyone that safety is our #1 priority at First Tee Denver. We are continuing to take steps in order to keep all participants, staff and parents safe during the ongoing Covid-19 situation. View our safety protocols here.

Experience Level: No previous golf experience

ADVANCED YOUNGUN
Ages 5-6
Experience Level: Some previous golf experience

PLAYER
Ages 7-12
Experience Level: No previous golf experience

GIRLS ONLY
Ages 7 & Up
Experience Level: Previous golf experience not required

PAR
Ages 7 & Up
Experience Level: Must have previous golf experience and
must have completed Player Certification.

PARDIE
Ages 9 & Up
Experience Level: Must have previous golf experience
and must have completed Par Certification

BEAGLE
Ages 13 & Up
Experience Level: No previous golf experience

YEAR-ROUND ADVANCED CLASSES (BIRDIE & EAGLE)

Course Improvements

Harvard Gulch Golf Course

Harvard Gulch Pond Improvements Starting October 1st

Harvard Gulch will be closing October 1st through April 30th for an improvement project on the pond. This project will help with the following on the golf course:

Conservation of potable water
New seating and viewing areas
Constant water circulation reducing mosquito breeding grounds, population, growth, development
Restoration of native species and wildlife
Additional character and a new challenge to the golf course
Improved irrigation equipment for less water usage and more efficient energy consumption
Improved course drainage

Kennedy Golf Course Safety Notice

Your safety is very important to us, therefore we have closed the bridge on Creek #9 at Kennedy Golf Course.

The annual release of water from the Cherry Creek reservoir caused underscoring to the bridge making it unsafe. Unfortunately, repairing or replacing the bridge is not a quick fix. We are closing it until we can repair or replace it this fall. There will be an
alternate route provided during this time.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we assess the situation.

Wear your mask in and around the clubhouse
Carts - Two riders allowed. Please ride with others when you can so we have enough carts for everyone, and reduce wear and tear to the course
Keep your distance - 6' at all times
Bring your mask and hand sanitizing wipes or gel for your own safety
