DENVER GOLF NEWSLETTER l APRIL

The First Tee of Denver Teaches 9-Core Values

#7 Perseverance l per·se·ver·ance

To persist in an idea, purpose or task despite obstacles

To succeed in golf, players must continue through bad breaks and their own
mistakes, while learning from past experiences. Golf teaches us this valuable
lesson which we can use in our daily lives to get through this difficult time.

Covid-19

COVID-19 update:
All Denver Golf facilities are CLOSED, effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020 to reallocate resources to more essential city operations and to promote the safety and well-being of our visitors and employees. The Denver Golf facilities will be closed until further notice. We will continue to evaluate the ever changing situation and will reopen when it is feasible.  Thank you for your patience and flexibility during this time.

We encourage everyone to get the latest information about COVID-19 at www.denvergov.org and by following the City & County of Denver on Facebook and Twitter.  Information will be updated as necessary. If you have additional questions, please reach out to  Infodenvergolf@denvergov.org

Staying Healthy Tips

Clean your hands often

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

Avoid close contact

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • Put distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community. This is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.

Clean and disinfect

  • Clean AND disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
  • If surfaces are dirty, clean them: Use detergent or soap and water prior to disinfection.
